• Cloud9IDE and Zeptojs

My intention for this post is to do a small video demonstration on how to write a small mobile app using zeptojs, nodejs as the server side technology and code everything using cloud9Ide as my editor.

As Cloud9 moto says is : “The Javascript IDE for Javascripters by Javascripters”. So cloud9 is an IDE build in javascript and using nodejs as its server side technology.
More info for cloud9 here, you can follow it on twitter and since is an open source you can fork it on github.

Zeptojs is a javascript framework for WebKit Mobile Browsers.
“Zepto.js is a minimalist JavaScript framework for mobile WebKit browsers, with a jQuery-compatible syntax.”
You can follow it on twitter and you can fork it in github

The demo is going to be really simple just a little app that displays the public time-line of twitter, nothing fancy.

The final result of the app you can view it with your mobile device here.

So go ahead get zeptojs and cloud9ide and make the next cool mobile application.

Here you can download the source code for the demo.
